He leads BRAIn, driving healthcare innovation through strategic collaborations. As I-Hub Lead at the Royal College of Surgeons, Ryan explores AI and emerging technologies in surgery.

A medtech entrepreneur, he co-founded ASep Healthcare Ltd, commercialising the Tournistrip tourniquet. Ryan is also Editor-in-Chief of the RCS Bulletin, a Senior Tutor at Oxford University, and a frequent speaker on healthcare innovation and AI in surgery.
