Alex Mesbahi, MD, FACS is an ABPS board certified plastic surgeon in practice since 2008. He is co-founder of the National Center for Plastic Surgery and now working in the Washington DC Metropolitan area and Beverly Hills, California. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital and a microvascular surgery fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast including complex aesthetic and reconstructive revision breast surgery and microvascular breast reconstruction. He has been awarded the Outstanding Faculty Teacher of the Year Award by the residents in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital and is on the Editorial Board for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal.
