Prof. Pierre Guerreschi is Head of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Lille University Hospital. He is Secretary of the Research and Innovations Chapter of the French Society of Plastic Surgery SOFCPRE. His numerous clinical activities in microsurgery in particular, in teaching and in research have led him to the development of innovative solutions in tissue engineering of soft tissues. As such, he is co-founder of Lattice Medical, a startup created in 2017 for the development of the MATISSE medical device for autologous breast reconstruction. He carried out the first implantation of MATTISSE in women in 2022. He participated in the research dynamics of tissue engineering, 3D printing of resorbable polymers allowing progress in autologous reconstruction techniques.
